What is the best way to dry your sheets?
If you use a tumble dryer, we recommend choosing a short drying time at low temperatures to avoid damaging the fabric. Also be careful not to overload the dryer, as this will make the bed linen less wrinkled.
Freshly washed bed linen is a pleasure for the senses, especially when the scent fills the rooms of the house. But it's important to dry it carefully so it doesn't spoil or smell damp.
If you use a tumble dryer, we advise you not to dry your laundry for too long. Some laundry items such as towels , sheets, pillowcases , and most cotton clothing can wrinkle if over-dried. At the same time, drying for too long can cause laundry to shrink. It is ideal to dry them quickly and at a low temperature to protect the fabric.
If you don't want to iron your bed linen, you can leave it in the dryer for a short time. A slight residual moisture prevents too many wrinkles from forming and the sheets and pillowcases from having to be ironed.
If you want to dry sheets with other items, such as towels, problems may arise. Not all sheets are made of the same fabric, so it's best to dry very different items separately to avoid overdrying problems. Sheets dry faster than towels. If the sheets are dry, the towels are probably still wet. In such cases, it is best not to wash laundry with different fabrics together, especially towels that require excessive drying.
To avoid wrinkled sheets in the tumble dryer, we recommend placing them in the dryer one at a time (a few at most). If you want to dry the sheets together with other items of laundry, place them well distributed in the drum first. Drying folded sheets is not a good solution because the dryer's hot air cannot penetrate deep enough into the folded sheets, leaving them damp in between. If you don't have a tumble dryer, you can hang your bed linen in a place that is not too humid and stretch it well so that it dries as quickly as possible. If you don't add any more cloths to the washing machine drum during the washing process, you can use all the space on the drying rack and completely unwind the bedding.
